Gather your materials

Plan your design
Before you start engraving, it's a good idea to sketch out your design on a piece of paper. This will help you visualize how the finished product will look and give you a roadmap to follow as you work. Consider the size and shape of the egg, and think about how you want to arrange your design. Will it be a simple, elegant pattern, or a more complex, detailed image?

Begin engraving
Once you're ready to start, hold the Customizer steady and gently guide it along the surface of the egg, following the lines of your design. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this can cause the egg to crack. Take your time and work slowly, and don't be afraid to stop and make adjustments if needed.
Add the finishing touches
Once you've finished engraving the main design, you can add any additional details or accents using the rotary tool. This could include adding texture, shading, or highlighting certain areas of the design.
Display your finished egg
When you're happy with your finished product, you can display it in an egg cup or nestled in a bed of grass or Easter-themed decorations. Alternatively, you could use your engraved egg as a special addition to an Easter egg hunt or as a decorative piece in a springtime vignette.
